Founded in 1915, the Northport Village Corporation (NVC) is the entity that governs and administers the Village of Bayside. The framework for how the NVC operates can be found in its charter and bylaws. The NVC has a year-round staff, including a village agent and a finance manager, and, during the summer season, police and lifeguards.
