Please return one copy to the office of Supt. of Schools -OP be fore 21st, 1942. at once. TEACHER'S CONTRACT 1942 - 1943 ARTICLES OF AGREEMENT, made this 26th day of October 1942 between Doris P. McSorley and the Board of Education of the Town of Southington, Connecticut, Witnesseth, That the said Doris P. McSorley hereby covenants and agrees to teach in a school in the Town of Southington, Connecticut to which he may be assigned, beginning Sept. 1942 for one year, or until the certificate hereinafter mentioned expires, or is revoked. And the said Board of Education hereby covenants and agrees to pay the said Doris P. McSorley at the rate of $ 1250 per year. It is mutually agreed that either party to this agreement may terminate the same at any time upon thirty days' notice in writing to the other, except between the dates of August first and October first. THE CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT ARE THAT: 1. The said Doris P. McSorley shall obtain a Connecticut State Certificate before beginning to teach. 2. That this agreement shall terminate and be of no effect from and after the expiration, or revocation, of the certificate of qualifica- tion. 3. That all payments of salary shall cease upon termination of this agreement. 4. That said Board of Education shall give a written release to said Doris P. McSorley , if she asks for the same, giving the required thirty days' notice, except that Doris P. McSorley agrees not to ask for release between the dates of August first and October first. 5. That Doris P. McSorley undertakes that she will faithfully do and perform her duty under the employment afore- said, and will observe and enforce the rules prescribed for the government of the school by the Board of Education and the Superin- tendent.
