Clement in payment of his bill of May 23d for repairing the mainsail. I also enclose check to the order of Neil S. Peterson for $11.82 to reimburse you for pre-payment of charges on shipping the old Edison batteries to Cooper Union. I hope these items now clear up everything. I owe you. I do indeed deeply appreciate the plentiful infor- mation and news you have given me in these two letters. I have just talked with Mr. Roger Milliken as to when the various boats should be in the water ready for use, and it is his judg- ment that it will be all right if they are in the water and ready for use by July 1st. I take it for granted that Uncle Lew will be on the job on this date also. I am glad to note that Niliraga's mooring and Kipper's mooring are already down, and that the float is in place.
